Paper due date

As discussed in class, the paper (or project if you’ve been cleared for that) is now due Tuesday, November 19.

Annotation Evaluation Criteria

We’ll talk about this in class more Thursday, but think about which things matter most in a good annotation (based on your experiences doing them).

Hypothes.is

We’ll talk about using Hypothes.is in class tomorrow, but if you want to see how it might be used in annotation of your own primary sources. You can go to http://hypothes.is/alpha/ using the Google Chrome browser and install the Hypothes_is extension.

After you install it (and reload), then you can see some annotations I made in the sidebar that comes up at http://dohistory.org/archive/doc102/102_p1_txt.html

More about this in class tomorrow.

Welcome!

The syllabus and links to online readings can be located above, along with the link to the wiki for posting your comments and questions each Thursday.
